No. The image is converted entirely in your browser and is never sent to or stored on a server.
Q2. Which formats are supported?
PNG, JPEG, and WebP. This tool can't produce special formats like HEIC or AVIF, but any image your browser can read can be converted into one of these three formats regardless of its original format.
Q3. What happens to transparency when converting PNG to JPEG?
JPEG doesn't support transparency, so transparent areas are automatically filled with a white background. Convert to PNG or WebP instead if you need to keep transparency.
Q4. When does the quality slider appear?
Only when you pick a format with adjustable compression, like JPEG or WebP. PNG is lossless, so there's no quality setting for it.
Q5. Can I also resize the image while converting it?
This tool focuses on format conversion, so the pixel dimensions stay the same as the original. Use the Image Resize tool alongside it if you need to resize as well.
