How to use
Write anything you want in the box above. It behaves like a normal document editor — no raw syntax, formatting shows up immediately.
Use the toolbar to apply bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, headings (H1–H3), quotes, bulleted/numbered lists, links, and text color to your selection — undo/redo included.
Your note auto-saves a moment after you stop typing. Use "Copy" to copy it elsewhere, or "Save as .md" to keep a file — always saved as Markdown under the hood.

Q1. Is my note stored on a server?
No. Your note is stored only in this browser's local storage and never sent to a server. It won't appear on other devices or browsers.
Q2. Why don't I see # or ** symbols while editing?
This notepad shows formatting the way a normal word processor does. Click Bold and the text actually looks bold on screen — it's only converted to Markdown syntax (**text**) internally when saved.
Q3. What formatting is supported?
Bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, headings (H1–H3), quotes, bulleted and numbered lists, links, text color, and undo/redo. Advanced features like tables or image embeds aren't supported yet.
Q4. Will my note disappear if I close the browser?
No, it stays in browser storage, so reopening this page shows your last saved note. In private/incognito mode, though, it may be cleared when you close the window.
Q5. Is there a storage limit?
Browser local storage typically allows a few megabytes per domain, which is plenty for everyday notes. For very long documents, we recommend downloading as .md periodically as a backup.
