Q1. Is the URL or text I enter sent to a server?
No. The QR code is generated entirely in your browser, and the value you enter is never sent to or stored on a server.
Q2. What does the error correction level mean?
It's extra redundancy that lets the QR code still scan correctly even if part of it is obscured or damaged. Higher levels (H) are more resilient but make the pattern denser. Use a higher level if you're overlaying a logo or printing at lower quality.
Q3. What happens if my text is too long?
If the text exceeds what a QR code can hold, you'll see a message saying the text is too long. Try shortening it or using a URL shortener first.
Q4. Can I freely change the colors and still have it scan?
Yes, but the foreground and background need enough contrast for scanners to read reliably. Colors with similar brightness can reduce scan success, so pick colors with clear contrast.
Q5. Can I use the QR code commercially?
